CANCELLATIONS POLICY 

The initial deposit of $500 includes $300 that is non-refundable (outlined below). Travel insurance (see below) can refund costs associated with canceled travel.

Review specific vendor information below. Cancellation must be in writing from guest and confirmation received in writing from Heartland to Holyland Tours.

ATHENS LAND TOUR PACKAGE AND ALL TRANSFERS

Upon cancellation loss of $100 deposit

After August 1, 2024: Non-Refundable

CELESTYAL CRUISE REFUND POLICY

Upon cancellation loss of $100 deposit

After June 8, 2024, an additional $200 is non-refundable for Junior Suites. For interior and exterior staterooms, an additional $75 is non-refundable.

After August 1, 2024:  35% cancellation fee on cruise fare

After September 1, 2024:  No-refundable cruise fare

AIRLINES AND AIRFARE

Upon cancellation: loss of $100 deposit.

After July 1, 2024:  Non-refundable.

AIRLINE SCHEDULES

Airline schedules and flights are subject to change by the airline without notice. Heartland to Holyland Tours is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic, not issued by the company due to schedule and/or flight changes. Airline fuel charges are included in your airfare. Fuel surcharges are subject to change without notice due to fluctuating oil prices. We reserve the right to amend your airfare due to increases in fuel surcharges imposed by airline. Once issued, tickets are no longer subject to potential increases but are non-refundable.

Our airline broker works to seat flying companions together. Seat assignments can be reviewed once tickets are issued and confirmed at airport check-in.  It is the passenger’s responsibility to provide frequent flyer number to Heartland to Holyland.

Luggage

All international flights allow one piece of checked luggage per person, a carry-on bag (spinner etc.) plus personal item.  Airline weight limit for checked luggage on international flights is 50 pounds. Heartland to Holyland Tours is not responsible for excess luggage or weight charges levied by the airline.

Deviations

Any passenger deviating from the group flights will be subject to the airline charges for the ticket price including taxes, stopover fees, weekend surcharges, etc. directly to the airline.

There may be a charge to change a group ticket purchased through Heartland to Holyland Tours.

Group rates may not apply for passengers deviating from the group schedule.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal 4-star standard. All accommodations are standard European-style rooms. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preferences, ADA compliance and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Breakfast is included daily. Additional hotel lunch/dinners and gratuities are the responsibility of the guest.

Heartland to Holyland Tours is not held responsible for damage, loss, or theft of luggage/personal items. Any damage/loss/theft must be reported at time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities for your protection and reported to your insurance company.

TRANSFERS

The tour package includes all ground transfers from airport to hotel, hotel to port, and port to airport on day of departure. If you are reserving flights independently, you will need to cover transfers to and from the airport in Greece or join the group’s transfer if your flight times correspond to the group schedule.

PASSENGER MOBILITY

If you have any physical challenges that make it difficult to walk distances, up inclines, climb stairs, carry luggage, ride escalators, ride in a wheelchair, etc., you will need to travel with a companion who can assist you. Also please notify us of any physical conditions that might affect you while traveling.

CELESTYAL CRUISE TERMS & CONDITIONS

By providing Heartland to Holyland with your credit card information or check for the deposit, you agree that you have read and accept the Booking Conditions and Terms of Conditions and Carriage (Conditions for online/mobile reservations). You agree to allow Heartland to Holyland to select “accept” on your behalf when processing your payments online.

EXCLUSIONS:

Travel and health insurance.  We require you to purchase travel insurance that provides medical coverage and trip cancellation or interruption due to health or family emergencies before and during the trip or medical incidents during the trip from the day of departure with the group (or your local airport).

Passport fees and all costs associated with lost passports.

Items not listed on package-level menus; additional specialty dining, mineral water, specialty coffee beverages, alcoholic beverages outside of those included with package at meals; other beverages outside of meals. (See upgrades below)

Internet and personal expenses not indicated above or specifically mentioned in the itinerary (i.e., laundry, valet service, telephone calls, postage, souvenirs, medications etc.).

Any hotel service for which there is a charge including additional meals other than breakfast, room service, laundry services, in-room phone, fax service, special requests, spas, drinks at the hotel lounge.

Beverage of your choice other than bottled water during arrival evening Athen’s welcome dinner.  Gratuities at Athen’s hotel for bellhops and maid service, etc.

Gratuities onboard Celestyal are INCLUDED. Gratuties for Athens/Corinth excursion guides and driver, as well as welcome night restaurant dinner are INCLUDED.

Certain gratuities are NOT included: Athens hotel staff including bellhops, maid service, etc. Gratuities for Celestyal excursion guide and bus driver (third party) are not included (appr. 2 euro for driver and 3 or more Euros per day for guide depending on quality of service rendered).

NOTICE

Heartland to Holyland Tours assumes no responsibility for any injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays, schedule changes, or irregularity resulting in changes beyond the control of Heartland to Holyland Tours to any person or reason including but not limited to default or omission of any private or commercial carrier or third-party providing services or facilities connected with this tour or any part thereof.
