Listing Your Events
FREE submissions of family-friendly events, concerts, seminars, conferences, monthly meetings, classes, etc., are accepted on a space available basis, are subject to content and relevancy review and editing. Because of the popularity of the events calendar, priority is given to churches, businesses and organizations that make Metro Voice available to their members, because we especially want to support those organizations that support us.
The deadline to submit items to the calendar is the Friday prior to the last Wednesday of the month (our print date) for the print edition. Submissions received between that Friday and Wednesday could still make it into the calendar but are not guaranteed. The online calendar is updated weekly, so if you miss our print date, you can still get in the online calendar.
Please use the form below to submit your calendar event. If you prefer, you can email your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org; please use this format: EVENT NAME – Month & Day, Time, Location & address; Event details; contact info (phone, email, website, etc.)
While the calendar is a FREE service it is limited by space. The paper is supported by advertising which enables us to provide this FREE community service. We offer the lowest cost-per-thousand display advertising in the area. Churches and other non-profits get our lowest rates! For a full, complete and eye-catching listing of your information and for greater reach and response from our readers, please consider a display ad, whether in print, or digital on our web pages, social media pages and our email blasts. If you would like display advertising information call 785-235-3340.
Can You Help?
With many events being postponed, businesses closing or reducing hours. and churches reducing services, the advertising that the Topeka Metro Voice relies on for support has significantly been reduced as well. For over 15 years, Topeka Metro Voice has been a leader in community and faith-based news. We have historically relied on advertising to fund the mission of our publication and sharing the Good News, as well as supporting local small businesses and community events. We are now seeking supporters and partners who want to support our publication and our mission of faith-based journalism and supporting the community and local small businesses.
Do you like what you read here? Help us continue our mission by supporting the Topeka Metro Voice in print and online for as little as $5. Every contribution counts, big or small. We sincerely thank you for your continued support and encouragement in these critical times.
