EMPLOYMENT:

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Under the direction of and in coordination with Executive Director, the Operations Director is responsible for the multiple administrative functions of Advice & Aid including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accounting and finance, human resources; administrative policies including the Employee and Volunteer Handbook; information technology; facilities and security; and volunteer recruiting.

The principal duties and responsibilities
Overseeing the work of the Bookkeeper regarding the processing and recording of payroll;
Assist the Executive Assistant to maintain an understanding of the donor recording functions as they relate to accounting;
Work in coordination with the Executive Director, Leadership Team, Accountant and Board Finance Team in preparing and gaining approval of the annual budget;
Responsible for overseeing annual budget performance and working with the Executive Director and the Leadership Team on corrective actions when needed.
This position will also assist with Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities/Security, Project Planning and Volunteer Recruitment and Records.

Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Accounting or Human Resources preferred.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be a self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through
proficient in office 365 and data analysis.
Must have the ability to work cooperatively with a servant Christian heart – as part of a team. Experience working in a Christian/Non-Profit ministry is a plus.

Must be a committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus who actively participates in local, Bible-believing church. Demonstrates a consistently life-affirming philosophy. Must subscribe to and support the Vision, Mission, Statement of Faith and Policies & Procedures of Advice & Aid.

COMMUNITIY RELATIONS DIRECTOR
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Community Relations Director (CDC) participates as a member of the Advice & Aid Leadership Team. The CRD manages relationships with people and organizations outside of Advice & Aid. In coordination with the Executive Director, this position helps oversee the donor cultivation function at Advice & Aid. Responsibilities also include establishing and building relationships with the Key Donors of Advice &Aid Pregnancy Centers.

The Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Help define, establish and maintain appropriate relationship strategies and goals for the various donor segments.

Develop strategies, communication processes and literature to help increase donor retention;

Provide the Executive Director with insight and recommendations based on analysis and reporting from the Donor Relationship Management System.

Help Executive Director in the development of the annual fundraising budget.

Represent Advice & Aid as a speaker for churches, organizations and events; at times work some evenings and weekends.

Responsible for all the supervisory responsibilities of the Special Events/Community Outreach Coordinator

Qualifications and Skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

An outgoing personality who genuinely enjoys people and with the ability to build rapport quickly. Experience working with donor or sales management software a plus.

Ability to learn and navigate various cloud-based software and web sites for donor management, communications, event planning, etc.

Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through.

Ability to work cooperatively with a servant Christian heart – as part of a team.

Experience working with donors in a Christian//Non-Profit ministry in community relations or marketing a plus.

LIVE-IN  YOUTH CARE SPECIALIST: MBCH Children & Family Ministries is seeking a full-time live-in Youth Care Specialist at our Mt. Vernon, Mo. and our Peculiar, Mo. locations.   We provide direct care for youth who have experienced trauma due to abuse/neglect.  Our Youth Care Specialists provide for our clients’ needs and impart life skills in a safe and structured environment which they help to create by modeling Christian values at all times. Live-in Youth Care Specialists work a 7 days on/7 days off schedule.

Starting Wage: $15.00 per hour!

SEEKING A FULL-TIME DIRECTOR OF DISABILITY SUPPORT SERVICES to join our team working from Warrensburg Missouri, located just 45 minutes southeast of the KC Metro area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide leadership and oversight of 4 supervisors of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and Independent Living Programs.

Additional indirect supervision of 15 caseworkers,

Complete and submit quarterly and annual reports of services provided

Daily contact with Missouri state agencies such as Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS), Medicaid Audit and Compliance (MMAC), MO Healthnet (Medicaid) and Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Oversight of documentation, along with monitoring and utilization of Plans of Care (POC) for persons with disabilities.

Oversight of independent living skills training, transportation and home modifications programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational and time management abilities are a must

QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration or related field of study.

Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience is required.

This is an exempt position paying $65,000.00-$70,000.00 annually Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.
